Kamukunji Community Empowerment Initiative (KCEI) is a grassroots organization established in May 2011 in Majengo Pumwani, Kamukunji Sub-County, Nairobi.It is deeply rooted in local impact, with a solid foundation in Kamukunji and surrounding areas. We address urgent issues such as poverty, unemployment, gender marginalization, and limited access to basic services—recognizing these as not isolated challenges, but widespread across Kenya and globally.

Who We Are
Kamukunji Community Empowerment Initiative (KCEI) is a grassroots organization established in May 2011 in Majengo Pumwani,Kamukunji Sub-County,Nairobi.
Our mission is to empower vulnerable groups especially children,youth & women -through skills development,knowledge sharing and livelihood support.We aim to foster self reliance,restore dignity & build stronger,more resilient communities.
